ABSTRACT
Photoemission electron microscopy (PEEM) is an imaging technique primarily used to examine local elemental distribution and chemical states. In this study, PEEM was applied skutterudite-based thermoelectric materials investigate the effects of composition material processing. Yb M-edge, Co L-edge, Sb M-edge absorption bonds were selected for analysis. The spectra these elements revealed multiple lines, confirming presence various states in materials. resulting images demonstrate that different exist several crystal grains.
