Alien succulents naturalised and cultivated on the central west coast of Portugal

ABSTRACT
The mild climate of the central west coast Portugal has made it predisposed to exotic plants becoming established and eventually invasive in natural macchia vegetation. Here we record occurrence 34 succulents, representing eight families, as forming part alien flora region. Twenty these are naturalised 14 casuals. Five taxa succulent that widely cultivated also catalogued, given propensity become pests. Most succulents illustrated ease identification.
