ABSTRACT
The wear properties of the Cu-based electrodes in micro-electrical discharge machining (EDM) were improved by codepositing CNTs into Cu matrix.Cu-based CNT fabricated electroplating using a copper sulfate plating bath containing CNTs.The surface roughness, and dispersion matrix applying ultrasonic vibration to during plating. The mass fraction increased with concentration above 1.0 g/L mean rate composite was approximately 50 % that normal electrode. The size craters, which formed each electrical on electrode surface, decreased incorporating materials.Cu-based have low property are one attractive tools for micro EDM.
