ABSTRACT
This paper deals with the modeling of brushed DC motor used as a reinforced starter for micro-hybrid automotive application. The aim such system, also called "stop-start", is to stop combustion engine when vehicle pulls stop, and restart it driver accelerates.A able ensure this new function in addition classical cold start. Then, its life time has be widely increased comparison starter. They have optimized, more especially their process commutation order minimize commutator brush wears, thereby increase lifetime device up whole vehicle. The main contribution development coupled FE-circuit model taking into account local saturation arc phenomena.Brush-segment contact resistance introduced circuit been computed efficiently compared measures. The validated by experimental measurements which are carried out specific test benches.
