ABSTRACT
In this research work, a new and simple design method of compact slot antenna with dual notched bands is demonstrated for ultra-wideband (UWB) wireless networks. The presented printed on low-cost FR-4 substrate.Initially, an improved impedance bandwidth designed. This archived by employing extra two T-shaped strips which increases the upperfrequency band from 9 to 15 GHz.Later, undesirable including 4 GHz C-band, worldwide interoperability microwave access (WiMAX) at 3.5/5.5GHz (3.3 3.7 5.15-5.85GHz), area network (WLAN) systems 5-6 (5.15-5.35 5.725-5.825GHz) are eliminated modifying upper layer using protruded L-shaped inside square radiation stub E-shaped strip feed-line.The proposed offers quite good fundamental properties in terms bandwidth, gain, fidelity, pattern, etc.A agreement observed between measured simulated results.Due structure excellent performance controllable bandnotch function, microstrip useful modern UWB networks can be attractive candidate portable internet things (IoT) sensors.
