ABSTRACT
Polar mesosphere summer echoes (PMSEs) are very strong radar in the polar mesopause local summer. Here we present frequency dependence of volume reflectivity and effect energetic particle precipitation on modulated PMSEs by using observations carried out European Incoherent SCATter (EISCAT) heating equipment simultaneously with high (VHF) ultra (UHF) 12 July 2007. According to experimental observations, occurrence rate at VHF was much higher than that UHF, altitude maximum observed UHF. Overlapping regions were between PMSEs. In addition, high-frequency had a limited impact when UHF electron density enhanced because precipitation. an updated qualitative method used study relationship frequency. The found be inversely proportional fourth power theoretical results provide definitive data foundation for further analysis investigation physical mechanism
