ABSTRACT
Groundwater is imperative for the continuance of life and sustainability ecosystem. Contamination water well-recognized danger to public health in Pakistan. Hence, this study was conducted assess map spatial variation groundwater quality surroundings Dijkot Branch Drain by using Geographical Information System(GIS). For purpose, sixty samples groundwater, ten wastewater five sludge were collected along with their coordinates from area. The analyzed chemical parameters heavy metals, such as pH, EC, TDS, Carbonates, Bicarbonates, Arsenic, Lead, Chromium, Cadmium, Zinc. results obtained compared WHO guidelines. Then, values these mapped GIS software. Arc V 10.2 used raster interpolation. To exhibit scenario area, Kriging method adopted. on. It generally observed that none found be within permissible limit. research resulted area deteriorated not fit drinking purpose.
