GTN - Information System Supporting the Dispatcher and Remote Tracks Control

When constructing new corridor tracks, but also when reconstructing the existing ones of all categories, significant improvements and innovations occur in contruction area. Consequently, same phenomenon occurs newly installed securing, interlocking signalling equipment, generally enabling remote track control. The traffic information controlling system (hereinafter GTN) being developed by Software Technologies Department University Zilina cooperation with AZD Praha Company, represents a graphical technological extention electronic equipment. It contains compact data, technology software model railway operation, to receive from as well other systems, about trains' movement. enables save, display document progression, trains movement operations on them. Last not least, it provides opportunity anticipated prognosis situation, transmit towards external IS, e. g. passenger systems at stations etc. Currently, GTN has been implemented used several versions Czech Slovak Railways tracks. Hereby we would like introduce its latest solution based distributed architecture using database system.
