Distribution characteristics of tritium in the soil in Beishan area of Gansu Province

ABSTRACT
Beishan region in Gansu was the preselected area for China’s high-level radioactive waste (HLW) repository. In selecting and evaluating a new dump site, tritium study is of great significance. The Xinchang-Xiangyangshan taken as an example. This paper selects typical unit tries to use distribution characteristics soil atmospheric precipitation infiltration recharge this area. results show: region, spatial variability content surface large; it feasible bound tracer method theory recharge; has close relationship with particle composition, salt content, mineral water organic matter content. These can provide important basis developing recharge, groundwater numerical simulation, nuclide migration so on.
