SAFETY OF NON-RETURN VALVES IN INFUSION SYSTEMS IN RADIOLOGY: INTEGRATIVE REVIEW

Objective : to analyze, from the literature, scientific production related safety of non-return valves in radiology. Method: an integrative review (IR). The terms used during search were classified by PubMed, Web Science and SCOPUS, performed March 2017 2019. Results: sample consisted 139 articles, which 7 PubMed; (LILACS), 1 (CINAHL), 33 (Web Science) 91 (SCOPUS). In addition, reference analysis selected texts articles was performed. this IR, only 5 (3.6%) studies evaluated, pointing out a scarce world area. Conclusion: usage infusion system radiology is not consensus yet depends on various physical, chemical microbiological aspects.
