Linking Agriculture Research Extension Education and Farmer (Areef) In Local Level: Municipal Perspectives

Purpose: The main research issue of study is to identify the nature existing linking mechanisms among AREE institutions at municipality level affecting agriculture service delivery. Study also focused explore possibilities university-community engagement strengthen linkage gaps.
 Design/Methodology/Approach: Convergent parallel mix methods design along with systematic review was employed attain objective. Ten observation delivery embedded KIIs were conducted in five Rural-Municipalities and Municipalities. theoretical framework discussed improve current interface local level
 Findings: literature from showed, top-down extension management, fragmented research, extension, academic institutions, lower perception value linkage, poor infrastructure basic services, absenteeism human resource, inadequate competencies causes weak education, farmer linkages level.
 Implications/Originality/Value: paper conceptualize various modalities that are being practiced over country must be contextualize based on characteristics education working municipalities.
