Objective. To study the peculiarities of pulmonary arterial hypertension in patients with chronic tuberculous pleural effusion and to evaluate possibilities an indirect method its diagnosis as a screening measure. Materials Methods. Catheterization right heart is considered "gold standard" for determining artery pressure. Conclusions. lung reduces venous pool transmitted artery, accompanied release number substances, including serotonin, broncho- vasospastic reactions. decreases most patients, confirms effect hypertension.
