ABSTRACT
The acquisition of critical thinking (CT) as one the 21st century skills is categorically crucial. Therefore, effective training CT in terms learning activities needs detailed exploration. This study applied ethno-inquiry model an e-learning platform and evaluated its impact on preservice science teachers (PSTs). experimental design employed randomized pretest-posttest control involving 62 PSTs participants, divided equally into group. Participants’ were assessed using essay tests. tests focused dealing with analysis, inferencing, evaluation, decision-making indicators. scores analyzed parameters average pretest-posttest. implementation effects calculated a paired t test analysis covariance (ANCOVA) at significance level .05. findings demonstrated that for group increased from less to level. result was better than Similarly, improvement individual performance Based results ANCOVA both groups confirmed had significant effect participants. thus provide convincing evidence essential roles it therefore recommended be implemented classes.
