Scientific Opinion on the assessment of the control measures of the category A diseases of Animal Health Law: African Swine Fever

ABSTRACT
EFSA received a mandate from the European Commission to assess effectiveness of some control measures against diseases included in Category A list according Regulation (EU) 2016/429 on transmissible animal ('Animal Health Law'). This opinion belongs series opinions where these will be assessed, with this covering assessment for African Swine Fever (ASF). In opinion, and AHAW Panel experts reviewed of: (i) clinical laboratory sampling procedures, (ii) monitoring period (iii) minimum radius protection surveillance zone, length time should applied zones.
