The high price of palm sugar compared to non-palm brown at the consumer level raises question which value-creation activities cause be relatively more expensive. This study aims (1) identify actors and roles each actor involved in value chain (2) analyse governance formed chain. uses primary data obtained through interviews with questionnaires field observations. sampling technique used snowball 53 farmers 10 collectors as respondents. Data were analysed using descriptive qualitative, refers global analysis (GVC) proposed by Gereffi. results showed that identified consisted farmers, processors, collectors, traders, support services, social enterprises, consumers. Palm processors are most important Tasikmalaya Regency; overall, type is Regency modular governance.
