ABSTRACT
BackgroundStaff awareness of fire safety immensely minimize the damage disaster.,. The purpose this study was to determine level and preparedness emergency among libraries staff Tehran Universities Medical Sciences in 2019.MethodsIn survey study, statistical population consisted 138 working Sciences. A researcher-made questionnaire with closed questions used collect required data. Using Cronbachchr('39')s alpha formula, reliability estimated be 0.82. validity also confirmed by experts. . SPSS (version 23) analyze collected data.ResultsResults obtained from analyses showed that majority respondents were moderately aware rules (3.1). In addition, analysis variance (P = 0.41) revealed no statistically significant difference terms towards fire. ConclusionLack library training rules, make them ill-prepared during disaster. Therefore, order alert, disaster planning is highly needed which requires more attention relevant officials.
