ABSTRACT
This study aims to evaluate the ability of ECHAM5 GCM model output data in estimating monthly rainfall on island Lombok. The used this are and automatic recorder (ARR) measurement rain for 2000-2018 obtained from ARR Gunung Sari. Correction bias is conducted by using mean ratio method regression method. that produces best approach then obtain projections a simple Evaluation validation Pearson correlation coefficient (r), Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) Nash-Sutcliffe Efficiency (NSE) values. results daily cannot be directly replace because its very low accuracy. downscaling technique performed average does not show satisfactory performance where efficiency figures produced still even gave slight increasing number. However, can seasonal scale with good correlation. Key words: method; global climate model; ECHAM5; rainfall.
