Problem-Based Learning with Character-Emphasis and Naturalist Intelligence: Examining Students Critical Thinking and Curiosity

ABSTRACT
This research aimed to examine the effects of problem-based learning with character emphasis and naturalist intelligence on students' critical thinking skills curiosity.This study was conducted at Islamic Senior High School in Mataram it employed 3x2 treatment by level design.Three treatments; (PBL-CE) (A1), problembased (PBL) (A2), regular (RL) (A3) were given two groups; students high (B1) low (B2).The data collected through test curiosity self-assessment observation sheets.The analyzed using MANOVA 0,05 significance level.The results showed that:(1) PBL-CE affect curiosity, (2) does not have a significant effect (3) interaction between did curiosity.PBL-CE can be applied as alternative develop curiosity.
