ABSTRACT
The yellow-legged hornet, Vespa velutina nigrithorax (Hymenoptera: Vespidae), which invaded South Korea in 2003 caused a great damage to honeybee industry. In this study, we tested the efficacy of new attractant and on-the-market-attractant apiaries located Jeonnam area. As test result, it turned out that V. velutina was most dominant species. newly developed showed substantially high capture statistically supported (P < 0.01). On other hand, many insects have also been caught by attractant, requiring further development aimed specific velutina.
