ABSTRACT
This study aimed to investigate in vivo dynamic metabolic changes after transplantation of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and iPSC-derived enriched cardiomyocytes (iPSC-CMs) a rat model ischemic injury.Serial 18F-FDG PET, echocardiographic, immunohistochemical, immunofluorescence studies were performed iPSCs iPSC-CMs compared with embryonic (ESCs), ESC-CMs, phosphate-buffered saline control group rats myocardial infarction.Increased glucose metabolism periinfarct areas improved function observed the cell groups group, serial immunohistochemical results exhibited survival migration during period.Serial PET echocardiographic imaging demonstrated recovery transplantation. could be potential approach evaluating spatiotemporal or for injury.
