ABSTRACT
The study was carried out to evaluate the efficacy of neem and wood ash for control insect pests infesting three vegetables in gardening; okra, spinach sorrel. plants were sown a randomize complete block design (RCBD) with four replications. Treatment application starts immediately after germination continued on 3 days interval. Parameters observed number damages infestation. These noted 6 9 weeks germination. Data collected analyzed using analysis variance (ANOVA). results revealed that there significant difference (P>0.05) as well encountered. Wood proved be more effective protecting against pests, since it recorded minimum activities pests. Therefore, botanicals such could considered an alternative method pest management. use biopesticides generally is encouraged they can proffer solution controlling without any environmental concern.
