ABSTRACT
Cassava is a source of carbohydrates that grows in tropical areas. The largest cassava producing province Indonesia Lampung, and Central Lampung Regency the main production center Province. Plant responses response to drought vary, such as plants wilting, stomata closing, chlorophyll content decreasing. stress inducer used this research was polyethylene glycol. Drought-sensitive will show reduced growth, while tolerant obtain new genotypes are resistant conditions. aim determine concentration PEG 6000; distinguish between a, b, total; differences density tolerance index treated with 6000 control. treatment consisted 5 levels, namely 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% each repeated times. tolerable 40%. higher 6000, lower b total content.
