ABSTRACT
This study examines rainfall events in Brazil, with emphasis on their potential to induce geo-hydrological hazards, like landslides and flash floods. Utilizing the CHIRPS dataset thresholds for landslides, we quantify analyze climatic hazards at a national level, providing perspective into relationship between precipitation patterns risks. Our findings aim contribute holistic understanding of risk, guiding strategic decisions disaster risk reduction climate change adaptation.
