Psychological skills and self-confidence among male soccer players in tertiary institutions in Ebonyi state

This study determined the perceived impact of psychological Skills and self-confidence among male soccer players in tertiary institutions Ebonyi State. Descriptive survey research design was adopted for study. The population one hundred forty (140) respondents (38 Coaches 102 Soccer players). same number served as sample due to smallness size. A structured questionnaire instrument used data collection. had a reliability coefficient 0.89. Two questions guided two null hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level significance. Mean standard deviation answer while t-test test hypotheses. result revealed that both self-talk imagery training significant. Based on findings, concluded stakeholders sports development State should facilitate provision environment would encourage self-talk, before during events.
