ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on critical thinking skills Appreciating Environment and Local Culture at SMP Negeri 8 Purwokerto. The method used in this is quasi-experimental with a quantitative approach. population consists Grade VII students sample size 70 students, selected through purposive sampling, class D as experimental group (n=35) A control (n=35).
