Abstract A number of modern surface processing methods use an energy flux. The examples include electro-spark deposition (ESD) and laser beam (LBP). work concerns the study Cu-Mo coatings deposited on C45 carbon steel, which were then eroded with a beam. analysis included microstructure, measurements macrogeometry microhardness, corrosion resistance tests selected areas after treatment. applied ELFA-541 subjected to Nd:YAG treatment variable parameters. problem presented in can be used extend knowledge application ESD coatings, especially sliding friction pairs.
