Floristic Inventory of an Estuarine Area in Northeastern Brazil (Ponta do Tubarão Sustainable Development Reserve)

ABSTRACT
We examined the floristic composition and similarity of Ponta do Tubarão Reserve Sustainable Development, Diogo Lopes District, Macau, Rio Grande Norte State, Brazil. During Field Course Ecology I II Postgraduate Program in Conservation State University Paraíba (PPGEC-UEPB), herbarium collections fertile specimens were made four recognized phytophysiognomies area; Caatinga, Dunes, Islands, Mangrove. Our results complemented by data from speciesLink network. A total 140 species, belonging to 102 genera 47 families, collected identified. Four species are new records for state Norte: Calliandra depauperata Benth., spinosa Ducke Bauhinia dubia G. Don (Fabaceae), which is also a record Caatinga vegetation area, Schultesia doniana Progel (Gentianaceae). Fabaceae was most represented family with 23 species. Similarity analyses indicated three distinct groups, composed combined Dunes Mangrove areas, Island area.
