ABSTRACT
This aptitude-treatment interaction study classified 68 subjects as external or internal. Approximately half of the externals (internals) were given a traditional, teacher controlled method instruction, with remaining being involved in contract for grade plan. At conclusion an eight week course introductory psychology, all 75 item multiple choice achievement posttest. Analysis covariance was used to test hypothesis between I-E and instruction. A strong disordinal found, internals performing better under plan method. Implications results role moderator variables research discussed.
