ABSTRACT
This paper aims to investigate the present situation and transfer mechanisms of microplastics in lacustrine sediments Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The study surveyed average abundance sediments. lakes from Plateau is 17.22–2643.65 items/kg DW 0–60.63 based on data Qinghai Lake Siying Co Basin. microplastic small medium very high compared that other areas world. Like world, those mainly include organic polymers PA, PET, PE, PP are primarily shape fibers fragments. pollution affected by natural changes human activities, concentration ecosystems gradually increases through food chains. Furthermore, suggests relevant administrative departments strengthen waste management while developing tourism pay much attention impacts water environments. provides a reference for preventing controlling contamination
