To date, the intraindividual reproducibility of fasting and postprandial gallbladder (GB) volumes has not been established satisfactorily. Hence we examined variability GB motility, using biplane Simpson method as a new sonographic tool for volume determination.The was validated in vitro vivo compared with sum-of-cylinders method.
