ABSTRACT
Background. Recently, we have reported a new clinical disease concept called fungus-associated chronic cough (FACC), which entailed the following manifestations: (1) cough; (2) presence of environmental fungi, particularly basidiomycetous (BM) in sputum; and (3) good response to antifungal drugs. To clarify relationship between exposure fungi development attacks, reviewed records patients with FACC performed molecular biological analysis BM fungi. Methods. We successfully selected 8 cough, wherein sputum culture yielded B. adusta beforehand; moreover, conducted allergological tests such as immediate-type skin test, serological bronchoprovocation lymphocyte stimulation test (LST), using antigenic solution adusta. The efficacy individualized therapy manifestations eight were examined. Results. All diagnosed FACC.
