ABSTRACT
Purpose: To explore a set of International Classification Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) categories that cover the spinal cord injury (SCI) nursing practice in China through national expert survey. Methods: An internet-based email survey was used. original ICF specifically for SCI has been developed from preliminary studies based on an international perspective. For cultural adaptation China, conducted with Chinese experts to identify were China. The which received more than 80% support would be reported. Results: Twenty-nine participated. There 81 agreement among experts, including 33 Body Functions categories, eight Structures, 24 Activities Participation, six Environmental Factors 10 Personal items. Conclusions: A identified. It reflects main issues nurses focus caring patients. These can facilitate use multidisciplinary teamwork improve participation team.Implications RehabilitationIn lack effective model or tool communicate other health professionals rehabilitation team patients.International is use, promote communication collaboration healthcare by establishing common language across different disciplines sectors.This this study serve as roadmap important items clinical nursing.
