ABSTRACT
Background: This study aimed to clarify the intermediate followup results of reduction without soft tissue repair in open ankle dislocations fracture. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed cases isolated associated Five male patients treated between January 2005 and July 2009 were enrolled this study. Debridement with primary wound closure skin performed suture capsule or ligaments. The outcome was evaluated by American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society score (AOFAS). time period for returning previous level activity also recorded. Results: average age 34 (range, 27 44) years, 4 2 6) years. last control AOFAS 90 84 98) points. Two ankles rated as excellent, other three good.
