ABSTRACT
Climate change is rapidly disrupting forest and agroforest ecosystems, with rising temperatures, extreme events, species shifts threatening their health resilience. Proactive management strategies are crucial to ensuring the continued provision of essential ecosystem services. Despite significant progress in forest-climate research, gaps remain integrating monitoring data, modeling future conditions, developing context-specific adaptation strategies. International cooperation essential, as climate impacts ecological processes transcend national borders. The Climate-Ready Adapted Agroforests Forests initiative (CRAAFT) aims enhance knowledge develop tools for adaptive management. By biological, ecological, economic, social sciences, CRAAFT focuses on improving resilience through international collaboration, data sharing, use innovative technologies. promotes transformative that balance biodiversity conservation, service provision, sustainable resource use. Through a global research strategy, improve forecasting, operational frameworks, foster exchange deliver actionable solutions adaptation.
