ABSTRACT
There has been an increasing interest in using cardiac indicators of self-regulation developmental science. Many researchers are interested unobtrusive mobile devises that able to collect reliable data outside the laboratory setting. Although numerous new ambulatory devices have become available over last decade, testing these on children comparison industry gold-standard is rarely conducted. The current study evaluated reliability one systems, BodyGuard2 (FirstBeat), relative electrocardiogram (Biopac MP150), during active and resting conditions 4- 6-year-old children. performed produced highly similar indices heart rate variability across conditions.
