ABSTRACT
This Guidebook is an outgrowth of the work under APLU’s INCLUDES grant, which among other achievements, led to development Institutional Model for Increasing Faculty Diversity (referred throughout this document as “the Model”). The offers a framework promote broader understandingof what required effectively hiring, retaining, and promoting success underrepresented STEM faculty. Based on Model, we developed Self-Assessment Inclusive Recruitment, Hiring, & Retention Tools help campuses evaluate actions they were taking institution-wide diversifytheir faculty, well provide information that could serve basis construction plan expanding diversity inclusion their campus.The primary purpose resource colleagues who choose engage in process. provides: 1.
