ABSTRACT
Cervical cancer represents a substantial global health issue, standing as the third most prevalent globally and principal cause of cancer-associated mortality in women, with an uneven burden shouldered by less developed countries. Despite being preventable malignancy, nearly all cases attributed to HPV infection, which has lifetime cumulative risk 80% through sexual transmission, cervical remains pressing issue. National cytology screening programs have been implemented identify abnormalities, lesions, early malignancies eligible women. However, utilization techniques is declining, due resource constraints, schemes not adopted less-developed economies. Several nations embraced alternative techniques, such Visual Inspection Acetic Acid (VIA), shown impacts on morbidity rates. With rising accessibility efficacious self-testing, there will be necessity reconfigure existing programs. Furthermore, preventative vaccination integral part World Health Organization’s (WHO) Global Strategy Expedite Eradication Cancer Public Issue, necessitating restructuring endeavors. This review article evaluates potential for detecting precancerous lesions within context WHO's 90-70-90 policy prevention diagnosis.
