ABSTRACT
Background: Spinal injury is the most common which may lead to devastating disability. Such fractures are relatively rare but frequently result in neurologic damage due part retro- pulsed fragments that narrow spinal canal. Hereby we would like correlate CT scan findings and impairment thoracolumbar burst at our center.
Materials Methods: This prospective observational study was conducted B&C teaching hospital, Birtamode, Nepal. Patients were evaluated by between July 2016 December 2018 referred from emergency department with a history of trauma suspected vertebral or without neurological deficit included study. The different demographic variables gender, age level spine studied. Thus, obtained data processed statistical software expressed percentage frequency.
 Results: total number patients 34 (male: 19, female: 15). ranged 16 years 77 mean 39.1 years. detected 10 cases (29.4%), out complete 6 (60%) incomplete 4 (40%). absent 24 (70.6%). An associated laminar fracture 17 (50%). Laminar found patients.
Conclusion: an excellent imaging modality for evaluation fractures. Measurement central canal ratio assessment can be useful information predict plan further management.
