ABSTRACT
Since the turn of millennium, car ownership and travel among young German adults have decreased noticeably. This paper analyzes these changes in Germans’ mobility behavior on basis a diary survey an income expenditure survey. The decrease by is linked to lower this group. However, behavioral owners are far more important with regard their overall travel. Logistic regression was applied identify attributes households that associated low altering ownership. model indicated structural population concerning income, employment, household composition, residential location account for majority households. also showed that, all things being equal, probability has changed. Specifically, gender gap almost disappeared because men less likely own today than 1990s. study investigated use owners. results reduced total both women mode share exhibit increasingly multimodal behavior.
