ABSTRACT
Abstract: Relevance: This study demonstrated the synergism of various natural preparations in combination with antibiotics, which is a matter high potential therapeutic interest due to de- velopment bacterial resistance these antibiotic drugs. very relevant because it demonstrates that extracts and their association antibiotics may be viable thera- peutic options against pathogens are responsible for incidence nosocomial community infections. Aims: The investigated antibacterial activity Staphylococcus aureus isolates (methicilin-sensitive (MSSA) methicilin-resistant Staphylo- coccus (MRSA)) green propolis Baccharis dracunculifolia DC. ethanolic com- bined classical antibiotics. Methods Results: In test (ten plus one two antimicrobial disc diffusions), 25 were used. inoculated Müeller–Hinton agar culture medium containing extracts. Bac- charis DC extract (BDEE) showed higher synergistic behavior tested than (PVEE). Conclusions: BDEE was preparation best effect sub-doses anti- biotics. These activities related Artepillin C, major compound PVEE, nerolidol, BDEE, other minority compounds
