ABSTRACT
Introduction: A few studies reported that there is reduced in dental attendance among Muslim patients during fasting month. This study aims to assess the perceptions Muslims Malaysia on common procedures fasting. Materials and Methods: structured questionnaire was used perception about 377 adults Kuantan, Malaysia. The total cumulative score derived from section categorized into good poor based median score, where a less than as equal or more perception. We further examined association between with sociodemographic data attendance. Results: Majority respondents perceived most of will not nullify their fast 50.9% them having score. There significant education level (p=0.04) Islamic (p<0.001). also month (p=0.04). It showed across both groups Conclusion: majority did fast. However, willingness come for treatment regardless perceptions. Hence, research necessary explore reason behind this.
