ABSTRACT
The present work studies the effect of addition silver nitrate on morphological, thermal, structural, mechanical, and electrical conductivity properties polycaprolactone-AgNO 3 membranes obtained by electrospinning, with a potential application for stimulation in tissue engineering. The pure PCL membrane presented beads fine fibers, while PCL-AgNO bead-less greater diameter fibers than polymer.Polymer crystallinity was affected salt due to formation complexes between ions polymer, which affects polymer chains organization. These changes fiber morphology chain organization their mechanical properties, resulting Young's modulus ultimate tensile strength added salt. The ionic sample 10% (2.02•10 -3 S/m) is close cortical bone (1.82•10 -6.67•10 S/m), indicates its engineering.
