ABSTRACT
Abstract: Eliminating poverty and upgrading the industrial structure are major challenges faced by contiguous poverty-stricken areas in three-year campaign against poverty. Since national strategy of targeted alleviation was put forward, tourism industry has become one crucial avenues through which residents increase their income, optimize structure, promote economic development, escape trap. It is therefore urgent to study coupling coordination relationship between transformation upgrade efficiency. Taking 42 counties Wuling Mountain Area as examples, SBM model improved entropy method applied measure efficiency index, respectively. The then employed describe spatio-temporal evolution characteristics Area. results follows. (1) index area a whole each sub-area shows irregular changes, future development trend not obvious. Tourism declined slightly at end sample period Hunan Guizhou subareas, while Hubei Chongqing subareas showed significant upward trend. (2) uncoupled uncoordinated county units concentrated central part Area, number decreased annually. that achieved increased significantly presented an agglomeration edge zone. (3) transition from uncoupling disorder (type 1) 2) core path, leads fact type 2 regions significantly, gradually formed band distribution edges area. Finally, based on above research results, it suggested should actively strengthen integrated other industries, give full play two-way radiation effect This would reconstruct path spatial pattern two, enables coordinated changes tourism. In turn, this realizes optimization adjustment poor allows for smooth alleviation.
