ABSTRACT
Melanocytic lesions are the most common cause of ocular neoplasia seen in cats. Melanocytomas melanocytic with benign behavior. What differentiates high malignant potential from those low is histopathological analysis material, and it not possible to define their based on macroscopic view lesion. The aim this study was report a case epibulbar melanocytoma an adult, mixed breed, neutered cat, increase volume region upper eyelid left eye, blackish color. We opted for surgical approach tumor, where we performed transconjunctival enucleation affected which submitted analysis, diagnosis confirmed. Given apparent similarity between lesions, conclude that necessary analyze enucleated material when lesion suspected, since can post-operative management prognosis.
