ABSTRACT
The COVID-pandemic has shown significant impact on cancer care from early detection, management plan to clinical outcomes of patients. Asian National Cancer Centres Alliance (ANCCA) put together the 9 "Ps" as guidelines for programs better prepare next pandemic. are Priority, Protocols and Processes, Patients, People, Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs), Pharmaceuticals, Places, Preparedness, Politics. Priority: maintain a key priority in health system response even during global infectious disease Protocol processes: develop set Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) have relevant expertise man Disease Outbreak Response (DORS) Taskforce before an outbreak. Patients: prioritize patient safety event outbreak need reschedule plan, supported by tele-consultation use artificial intelligence technology. People: business continuity planning support surge capacity. PPEs Pharmaceuticals: stockpiles management, build local manufacturing capacity disseminate information proper reduce wastage. Places: design facilities cater triaging, infection control, isolation segregation. Preparedness: invest manpower building technology innovations through multisectoral international collaborations. Politics: ensure leadership which bring trust, cohesion solidarity successful pandemic mitigate negative healthcare system.
