Different Clinicopathological Characteristics in Indonesian Colorectal Patients with NRAS Mutations and HER2 Over-Expression

ABSTRACT
This study aims to assess the association of subject characteristics and NRAS mutations with HER2 expression in CRC.This research is a cross-sectional study. The subjects this were colorectal cancer patients Digestive Surgery division at Dr. Hasan Sadikin Hospital. There 58 subjects. Examination was carried out by Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) from fresh tumour tissue obtained surgery or colonoscopy. Meanwhile, examination used Immunohistochemistry (IHC) method paraffin blocks for anatomical pathology same patients.HER2 overexpression found 6/58 (10.3%) CRC, 8 mutations, only 1 (1.7%) showed HER2. Univariate analysis no significant associations age, sex, histologic feature, tumor location, mutations. A between stage CRC p=0.001.There patients.
