ABSTRACT
This study was aimed at clarifying the effect of intraoperative hypotensive anesthesia on outcome early surgery in patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) caused by saccular cerebral aneurysms. Other factors were also screened for possible effects outcome.Hospital charts 84 consecutive SAH who underwent aneurysm clipping Day 4 examined. Possible affecting analyzed using multiple logistic regression dichotomous Glasgow Outcome Scale score as variable. The relationship between hypotension and occurrence severity vasospasm studied both single- multivariate analyses.Intraoperative had a significantly adverse SAH. Hypotension related to more frequent severe manifestations vasospasm. A long-lasting brain retraction is possibly cause this phenomenon. data contained preclude use even limited form.
