ABSTRACT
The goal of this paper was to review surgical management and outcomes in patients treated for radial nerve (RN) lesions at Louisiana State University Health Sciences over a period 30 years. Two hundred sixty with RN injuries were evaluated. most common mechanisms involving the included fracture humerus, laceration, blunt contusions, gunshot wounds. One eighty (69%) underwent surgery. Lesions not continuity required primary or secondary end-to-end suture repairs graft repairs. With use direct intraoperative action potential recording, which lesion external internal neurolysis resection followed by repair. A minimum 1.5 years follow-up available 90% who Motor function recovery Grade 3 better observed 10 (91%) 11 repair, 25 (83%) 43 (80%) 54 received 63 (98%) 64 whom performed. Sixteen (71%) 21 superficial sensory injury achieved satisfactory pain relief after complete neuroma neurolysis. This study clearly demonstrates that excellent functional can be proper injuries.
