ABSTRACT
While studying the biological properties of hemolytic streptococci isolated from different sources in this Island, we grouped 46 strains using precipitin reaction described by Lancefield. All extracts were first tested against group A serum. Those that gave a positive test not tried other sera because cross reactions have never been observed with particular antiserum. doubtful or negative result same B, C, D, E, F, G and H antisera. Out 11 diseased tonsils, 7 belonged to A, 2 C remained unclassified. chronic discharging lesions face, abscesses, otitis media, osteomyelitis throat patients diagnosis scarlet fever A.
