ABSTRACT
Nous avons mené un essai challenge/rechallenge dans lequel 3 alpagas ont été infectés par le coronavirus du syndrome respiratoire du Moyen-Orient. Les alpagas ont excrété le virus au challenge mais étaient réfractaires à l'excrétion supplémentaire au rechallenge au jour 21. L'essai indique que les alpagas peuvent être des modèles appropriés pour l'infection et la dynamique d'excrétion de ce virus.<br/>Realizamos un ensayo de desafío/reexposición en el que 3 alpacas se infectaron con el coronavirus del síndrome respiratorio de Oriente Medio. Las alpacas eliminaron el virus en la prueba de provocación, pero fueron refractarias a una mayor eliminación en la nueva prueba de provocación el día 21. El ensayo indica que las alpacas pueden ser modelos adecuados para la infección y la dinámica de desprendimiento de este virus.<br/>أجرينا تجربة تحدي/إعادة تحدي أصيب فيها 3 من الألبكة بفيروس كورونا المرتبط بمتلازمة الشرق الأوسط التنفسية. ألقت الألبكة الفيروس في التحدي لكنها كانت مقاومة لمزيد من الإلقاء في إعادة التحدي في اليوم 21. تشير التجربة إلى أن الألبكة قد تكون نماذج مناسبة للعدوى وديناميكيات التخلص من هذا الفيروس.<br/>We conducted a challenge/rechallenge trial in which 3 alpacas were infected with Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus. The alpacas shed virus at challenge but were refractory to further shedding at rechallenge on day 21. The trial indicates that alpacas may be suitable models for infection and shedding dynamics of this virus.<br/>
